I am very sorry to hear of Todd's passing. I knew him at first while growing up in Brookings, SD, he living on the same block as I did in that city when we were kids. We knew each other on and off during our academic progression concluding in Brookings HS, he and I graduating in 1970. Occasionally there was a sighting of him while we attended SDSU. Years later, I was in contact with him through the BHS Class of 1970 E-mail group, either individually or through messages to all members. We almost met during a visit I made some years ago now to the Portland, OR, area; however, he was unable to appear, because of a commitment in Boise, Idaho.
I did not see or hear directly his musicianship, but I was informed of his artistry from other people who knew him.
