I have known Tom since 1985 when I was transferred to the SUBASE Bangor. Tom had just retired from Lockheed and was repairing clocks and watches. He took on some of mine and we became friends. I have enjoyed many lunches with Tom and Leon Jaussaud. We swapped a lot of sea stories, some of which might even have been true. I was lucky enough to purchase a few of Tom's treasures as he downsized the past few years. I shall miss him very much. You, the family of Tom Perkins, have my deepest sympathy for your loss.
