Obituary of Alan Roma Laperle
Please share a memory of Alan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Alan R Laperle
June 30, 1951 - Feb 2, 2017
Alan Laperle passed away unexpectedly at the age of 65. He was born in Rumford, Maine to Mary and Roma Laperle and graduated from Rumford High School.
Even though Alan moved to the west coast many years ago, he remained an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He would have been thrilled that the Patriots won the Super Bowl.
Alan lived a complicated life, due in part by substance abuse addiction. Hopefully by sharing Alan’s struggle we can better understand why he continued to make mistakes that impacted his relationships with those he loved. We grieve for the healthier life that we always hoped he would have and pray that he has found peace.
Alan leaves behind loved ones, a daughter, Tamara and a grandson as well as sisters Dee, Donna and Lori.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father and our brother Jeff. Alan will be laid to rest at St. Johns Cemetery along side his parents.
