Obituary of Bryan Lee Creager

Bryan Lee Creager ~ 84 Vancouver, Washington June 9, 1932 ~ January 5 , 2017 Lee Creager age 84, died peacefully on Jan 5, 2017 at Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, Washington. Lee was born on June 9, 1932 in Glenrock, Wyoming. He moved to the city of Vanport, Oregon with his family when he was quite young and was a resident when the city flooded and was destroyed. Lee attended Benson Polytechnic High School in Portland and it was while he was riding public transportation to school that he met his wife of 62 Years, Jean. Lee lived most of his adult life in the St. Johns Neighborhood of North Portland. He served in the US Army and was very active in his community, Troop 52 Scout Master, baseball coach for Pier Park Little League, basketball coach with St Johns Community Center. Lee loved to go camping with Jean and they instilled their love of camping at Timothy Lake and Barview Jetty into their grandsons. Lee is survived by his beloved wife, Jean; brother, Ray (Susie) of Boise; sons, Michael (Laurie) of Vancouver and Paul of Portland; grandsons Joseph of Vancouver and Derek of Portland.
