I dreamed about you again last night. You were upset with me because I lost the twins. They are grown now and choose to shut me out of their lives. I think it is because of the other person in my dream. The one from my past who has returned and brought me much joy. I will always love you. Don't worry. The girls will find their way back... eventually.
One request... if there is anything you can do to help Mishie be able to go to school in New York and achieve her dreams, despite all of the craziness down here, please do.
And bless Nicole and her new baby girl, Everlly. I haven't been able to see her.
I miss the girls. If you can help with that situation, too, that would be great!
Just checking in. Bye... for now.

Dear Strahm Family,
I want to leave with you my sincerest condolences for your loss. I can only imagine the pain and sorrow you all must feel.
I had many conversations with Chris during my career with G&S Designs, Oz Audio, and Diamond Audio Technology as a design engineer/technical writer. All of the products Chris produced helped me and the companies I worked for develop better products.
In our conversations, ranging from theory to software issues, Chris was always a consummate professional. Chris had a kind way of imparting his knowledge to others without any airs or misgivings. I am sure because of his good nature, his time was demanded by many. He was a good teacher, offering little insights to things I hadn't thought of or seen clearly. I greatly appreciated him and the staff at LinearX, several of whom I had also spoken with through the years.
I have been out of the audio industry for about 17 years now, but ran across the news of Chris's passing while looking for some new test equipment for a hobby project.
Again, my condolences for your loss and grief. I will light a candle in remembrance of Chris.

Chris-Sorry I took so long to get this posted. It's been a couple of weeks since they graduated. They did it! It was a really tough year for them both because none of us has come to terms with your passing. This was a step in the right direction, though. Life goes on and we hang on to your memory with love.

I have only just heard of Chris's passing. I'm very sorry to hear the news.
Chris once stated that there were a million lines of code in LEAP. That is a huge intellectual achievement for one individual.
My regret is that my last correspondence with you Chris, many years ago, exposed my failure to adequately express my issue, and consequently the issue was left hanging, unresolved. Looking back with more understanding of the subject and of human relations, I regret that I'll not have the chance to express myself better, and to draw upon your encyclopaedic knowledge. Without doubt my loss.
Rest in peace.

Driving by the old location in Tuallitan today. Made me think of the old crew and company and wondering how the company was, decided to Google it. So sad to find this news I worked there about 17 years ago for quite a few years. Great team and family to work with Chris was amazing and so smart. Condolences to his family.

He made so great contributions to the audio industry, so great products with LinearX, which I proudly own some of them, and will preserve like if they're made of gold. With LEAP he leaved an important mark on the audio industry. Thanks for your eternal patience answering my dumb and beginner-level questions. doing so you taught me very much about electro-acoustics. Above all you showed me how an engineer must explain correctly. Thanks for so much, Chris.

My deepest condolences to all Chris’s family. He was taken from us all too soon. One of the most innovative and talented electronics designers I have ever known, and a brilliant software engineer as well. Vale.

Wow, I am really sad to read about Chris Strahm's death. Back in the day, there were various speaker modeling programs, but they were all still vague models based strictly on Thiele and Small-and Dick Small would have been the first one to caution that those parameters were for small signals and to be used with caution. When LEAP came out, it was like a bolt of lighting. Hey! I can import REAL DATA for response and impedance? So I can really do a true crossover simulation?!?!?! INCREDIBLE!!! The later expansion into large-signal parameters was another giant "LEAP" forward as well. And a nice guy to boot. R.I.P. Chris.

I just heard of Chris's passing from a colleague a couple of weeks back. I didn't know him too personally, though we'd talked at some length on a couple of occasions about getting LMS moved off of the old ISA cards and into something USB based. Early in my career I spent an awful lot of time using LEAP and to a lesser extent LMS in my work at Harman International. At the time they were, "the" tools to have. I'm sorry to hear of his passing, Audio has lost another bright mind.

Merry Christmas. Missed you just like I have for the past several years. Girls did too. Mishie gave Nicole a Calvin & Hobbs book and Nicole started crying because it reminded her of the many nights you would read one of those stories to them. We all miss you.

I was 26 and he was 31 when we met. We spent the next two decades building a company, a family, a life... Things didn't turn out all roses for us, but I can assure you, I never got over him.
No one has ever helped me overcome obsticles like this man did. He taught me so much and helped me more than anyone before or since.
He is the smartest man I've ever known and his contributions to electro-acostics, audio, and physics made a big impact on the world. I was so privileged to be by his side while he was doing all of his magic.
He is so much more than this... He is forever in my heart.

Dad, you were the most brilliant man I knew. You never gave up, and you loved your job with a passion that I can only strive to attain. I feel so truly honored that you were my father. Most of the happiest memories in my life involve you. You would spend so much time with Nicole and I when we were younger. Nearly every night you would take time out of your work scheduel to read to us a story out of our Calvin and Hobbes collection. On Fridays we would sit in front of our TV with popcorn and ice cream and watch movies with you. These seem like small things but they meant the world to us. Spending time with you was all I ever wanted to do.
I love you dad. Words cannot express the pain I feel from losing you. I miss you every day. I wish I could go back in time and call you and spend time with you and talk to you. Love, forever and always, your daughter Michelle.

Your light will forever shine in my heart and in the hearts of our daughters. So much wasted time gone by and how much we miss you now. God bless you my dear, dear Chris.
