Obituary of Jimmy Wayne Gunnels

Jimmy Wayne Gunnels ~ 64 Brush Prairie, Washington November 11, 1952 ~ November 25, 2016 Jim “Jimmy Wayne” Gunnels, 64, of Brush Prairie, passed away Friday, November 25th at his home, surrounded by his family. Jim was born November 11th, 1952 in Houston Texas to Jesse Louis Gunnels and Opel NormaJean Sanders. He grew up and attended school in Texas and Ada, Oklahoma. Jim spent almost a decade coaching Clark County Youth Football and was a volunteer coach for Prairie High School Football. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, and enjoyed golf and fishing in his free time. He most enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, and considered his family his greatest achievement. Jim is survived by his wife, Donna, his sister, Jessie, his five children, Jesse James Gunnels, Angie Gunnels, Shilo Gunnels, Amy Gonzales, and LaDonna Thompson; and several grand and great grandchildren including Alex, Destiny, Shaylee, Chance, Leecy, Belle, Emery, and Zorriah.
