Thomas M. Moring, 63, of Vancouver, WA passed away in his home Monday, August 29, 2016.
Born in Peekskill, NY, he grew up in Fort Wayne, IN, the son of the late Ernestine and Edgar Moring and Dominic Giglio. A retired member of IBEW union local 305, he recently worked at Washington County Housing Services, Hillsboro, OR. He was a Marine veteran who served in Vietnam.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Carla Moring; daughter Kelly D. (Ryan) Wilson of Greenwood, IN; sons Chad M. (Emily) Moring of Fort Wayne, IN; Joel D. (Stephanie Gesmondi) Moring of Bar Harbor, ME; 4 grandchildren; and brother Bill F. Moring of Montvale, NJ.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Evergreen Arboretum at Fort Vancouver National Site, Vancouver, WA on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Limited seating, a folding chair is permitted. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to The National Park Foundation or your local PBS station.
