LaVerne Wayne DeSpain was a brave, bold and beautiful person of consequence. He was a true American patriot who served and contributed to his nation in many ways. He served in the Army during the Korean War, he earned and built a solid life for his family despite his humble roots, and he raised two independent loving daughters and two wonderful grandsons. He lives on in his loved ones who are eternally devoted to him and all he taught them about love, life and happiness.
