Obituary of Ethel Beatrice Clark

Please share a memory of Ethel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Ethel Clark Ethel was born on March 3rd, 1927 in Trenton, Missouri. Her dad was a dairyman and her mom worked as a school teacher. She has three sisters, including her twin. As a child, Ethel enjoyed playing the piano and xylophone by ear and helping out on the family’s dairy farm. The family later moved to Arizona, Kansas, and California. It was in Bakersfield, California that she married George Clark while working at Bank of America. During their 68 years together, they enjoyed traveling and playing golf with friends. Family vacations often included camping or backpacking on horseback. Ethel also stayed busy cooking, sewing, and playing card games. Ethel is survived by her husband George, two sisters, two children, six grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as being beautiful, gentle and loving to all. She endured many physical challenges in her recent years without complaint or negativity toward anyone. Although we miss her, she is now with loved ones who have waited many years to have their kind, sweet daughter and sister close by again. Now we must wait patiently for the day we can be blessed to once again be in her presence.
