Obituary of Walter Earl Clark Jr.

Walter Earl Clark Jr. ~ 81 Vancouver, Washington February 6, 1934 ~ September 30, 2015 Walter Earl Clark Jr., 81, passed away at Peacehealth Southwest Medical Center, Vancouver WA, on Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Born February 6, 1934 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, he traveled and lived in many places throughout the world as part of his military career before settling in Vancouver, WA. Walter retired as TSGT in the United States Air Force and also worked for the VA hospital in Vancouver, WA after retiring from the USAF. Walter was a longtime member of the VFW Post 7824, Vancouver, WA in addition to being the Post Service Officer. He was an Elks Lodge 823 member and a member of the Moose Lodge Chapter 970 both in Vancouver, WA. Survivors include his daughters, Sheila Clark of Bakersfield, CA, Christine Penney of Cotati, CA, and Karen McNeil of Vacaville, CA. He also is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 pm, Sunday October 25, 2015 at the Veterans of Foreign War, located at 400 N. Andresen Road, Vancouver, WA 98661. Interment will be held in private. Family and friends are welcome at the Celebration of Life.
