Florence L. McFall (nee Frankson) died 16 December, 2022 at home in Vancouver, Washington. She was born in Palacious, Texas on 25 June, 1928 to F.A. Frankson and June Frankson. At the age of 12 she moved to Walla Walla. She graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1946. After attending community college she became a legal secretary in Walla Walla. She was married to Virgil B. McFall in the Congregational Church on 29 August, 1950. (Who preceded her in death) She is survived by three children, Barbara McFall Fowler, Bradley B. McFall, Jennifer McFall DeVoe. Six grandchildren, Meghan Zenor, Brian Fowler, Scout McFall, Jackson McFall, Tanner DeVoe, Claire Devoe. Four great-grandchildren, Madeline Zenor, Drew Zenor, Oliver Zenor, Maxwell Fowler. Florence was an active volunteer at the Congregational Church, (she was the quintessential 50s housewife who) participated and supported her children in school and athletic events (and was a skilled seamstress, crafter and early Spout Springs skier.) She and Virgil moved to Vancouver in 1992 where she lived until her death. She was a 50 year PEO member and a passionate bridge player. As an enthusiastic traveler (into her 90s), she visited 50 states and over 50 countries. Her memorial service will be at 1:00 pm Sunday,January 29, 2023 at Cedar Hills United Church of Christ 11695 SW Park Way, Portland, OR 97225. In lieu of flowers please send donations to P.E.O.
