Gary Bevard ~ 60 Vancouver, Washington July 2, 1955 ~ September 16, 2015 Gary Dean Bevard went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 16th, 2015, surrounded by loved ones in his home. Gary was born to Bert and June Bevard on July 2nd, 1955. Gary's greatest passion was sharing the story of his journey in Christ and he always did it with such conviction and enthusiasm. He enjoyed playing the drums in various worship bands and was active at Living Hope Church. He also enjoyed visiting the church of his childhood, Community of Christ. Gary worked as a commercial and residential painter and took great pride in his work. He enjoyed traveling to Long Beach, Washington with his wife, Josephine, and their dogs. There they enjoyed flying kites on the beach and Gary was known to cruise the beach with his four wheel drive pick up and tow cable to help those stuck in the sand. Gary is survived by his beloved wife Josephine, step son Brett Olney (wife Jennifer), brothers Jim and Mickey (wife Linda) and close friend Dale. He will also be dearly missed by nieces, nephews and countless friends through church and work.
