Obituary of Nikolas Alexander Scymanski
Please share a memory of Nikolas to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
On Saturday, January 22, 2022, Nikolas Alexander Scymanski passed away in his sleep. He was born on November 8, 1994, in Vancouver, Washington. He was first, a son to Lori and Glen Scymanski. In minutes he was then held by his brother, Nathan and sisters Natasha and Nara.
As the years went by, he became an uncle to Bella, Bailey, Caleb, Mason and Maddex. A cousin and nephew to so many. A friend to hundreds of people. When Nik walked into a room, the chemistry changed.
He worked as a framer with the Union and was an exceptional craftsman at what he did. He was trusted and reliable. His work ethic was exceptional. He grew up in the Camas-Washougal area but branched our far and wide as he made friends and spent time with them across the Pacific Northwest hiking, boating, camping, and he enjoyed engaging in all the beauty across the many seasons of opportunity it provides us. He enjoyed Martial Arts, playing the guitar while jamming with friends, exercising, airsoft, video games and cooking for him and anyone who would sit down and enjoy what he made. He loved his dog Peach, they were inseparable.
There will be a Nik sized hole forever in our hearts where Nik will always be…he was full of life, loyal, giving, and such a wonderful person. The Scymanski family and all his friends hold on to the goof ball loving crazy young man he was. We hold on to all the memories we made watching him grow up as we all grew up with him.
While the bright flame of Nik might have extinguished, the warmth of his flame continues in our hearts and memories of him. Rest for now Nik.
