Obituary of Donald Henry Curler
Donald Henry Curler, a proud veteran of the Air Force, passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 92 in Vancouver, Washington after a long battle with Alzheimer’s. The son of Gilbert and Ethel Curler, Donald grew up in Belding, Michigan.
At the age of 17, Donald enlisted in the Navy. Two years later, Donald enlisted in the Air Force. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of Chief Master Sergeant. After he retired from the Air Force, Donald worked as a civil servant at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California. Donald was a long-time resident of Rancho Cordova, California.
Donald is survived by his wife Kiyoko Curler; his daughters Margie L. Curler and Mary C. Prescott; step-daughter Kazuko Maeshiro; and granddaughter Bethany M. Prescott. His loved ones remember Donald’s sense of humor and gentle nature.
Memorial contributions in Donald’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
