Obituary of James Waskom III
James Waskom III
Vancouver, WA
October 11, 1960 - December 04, 2021
James, Thou are gone to the grave, but we will not deplore thee, since God was thy ransom, thy guardian, thy guide.
He gave thee, he took thee, he will restore thee, for death has no sting, since the savior has died.
James Waskom III was the fourth child of four children. He was born October 11, 1960 in Tacoma, Washington, to the late James Waskom, Jr and Chieko (Yoshinaga) Waskom.
At the age of 10 he confessed Christ and was baptized at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, Rev. Willie Waskom in San Francisco, California.
On any given day, James could be found fixing a car. Fixing cars was his passion and craft, it was something he never stopped educating himself and others family members about the automobile industry. James befriended dozens of customers and often performed personal favors at the drop of a hat for many who loved and appreciated him dearly. Many of his weekends were spent sitting on the couch watching Nascar. He also loved fishing and playing with his nieces and nephews. He was loved by many and will be remembered in our heart always.
James Waskom is survived by 2 children daughter Michelle Waskom of Redding, California, and James Waskom IV of American Canyon, California. 2 sisters Carolyn Doty of McMinnville, Oregon, Claudia Bellone of Vancouver, Washington. 1 Brother Jerry Waskom of Lynnwood, Washington, and a host of relatives and friends.
