Your no longer in pain Steve i think about you often. I've actually been trying to get ahold of you for quite a while and didn't understand why no return calls or texts (not like you) I recall speaking to you last in late Oct/ early Nov. I've been trying to reach you as I've stated. Today you entered my head again I called, It won't accept, I text it won't deliver so I call your work number and I hear your voice on the other end..... I didn't leave a message because I've left so many with no return call than It dawned on me..... I was prompted to look into obituaries and here you are.... I'm just so sad over this. I miss talking with you in length and giving you crap all the time and I'll miss you now even more knowing I'll never speak with you again. I wish I could have been there for you.

I didn't get to meet him in person. I work at an agency that shared facility responsibility with his. I knew him as a rock, someone who always had my back, someone who always came through, someone who returned calls and emails promptly. Such a cherished rarity! He had a sense of ethics and treated the people with whom we interacted with fairly. I will miss him so much. Thank you to the higher being for allowing us to share a small part of this life with him. Dezi

Steve was a great resource for me while working in Tillamook County at the Environmental Health Department. He was a great asset to the OLCC and a kind human. He will be missed by many.
