Shirley Ann Wilson, age 81, passed away on Wednesday August 25, 2021 in Vancouver, Washington with family by her side, and with music in her ears and heart.
Shirley was born in Nancy, Kentucky on April 23, 1940, she was raised by her loving parents, Warren and Grace (Burton) Daws. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, homemaker, and also worked many years as a Pharmacy Technician. She was for decades a faithful member of Grace Baptist Church in Milford, Ohio, later moving to Harrodsburg, Kentucky with her husband, Carlie.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa (and Pascal) Gentile; two sons, Jeffrey (and Jenny) Wilson and Stephen (and Michelle) Wilson; one daughter in-law, Sherry Wilson and one sister, Bernice Dezarn. Shirley is also survived by three grandsons; Liam (and Anna) Gentile, Daniel Wilson, Nathan Wilson and one granddaughter; Carlie Jane Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Carlie G. Wilson; one son, Danny C. Wilson; her sister Faye V. Tarter; and her brother Roy Daws.
She was a kind person who loved her family and friends and amazed all with her boundless energy. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Stump officiating.
