On August 4, 2021, Robbyn June Lyons passed away in Vancouver, WA at Peacehealth Southwest Medical Center due to health complications. She was 63 years old.
Robbyn was born in 1958 in Los Angeles County to Ruth and Ernest Casteel. She attended Eagle Rock High School until 1973 when her family moved to Portland, OR where she attended Marshall High School.
Robbyn was mother to Nathaniel Lyons, Jayson Lyons, Jenessa Stark, Natalie Lyons, and Joshua Sixberry. She considered motherhood to be her life’s greatest work.
Aside from her children, Robbyn is survived by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, her sisters Rae Lynne Blair, Rita Danielson, Ronna Duff, and Renee Sessler, and many nieces and nephews.
Robbyn is sure to be remembered by loved ones when they see tulips in bloom, spot a hummingbird sipping nectar, or hear a song by her favorite band, Journey. Her whole-hearted hugs will certainly be missed.
A celebration of life ceremony will be scheduled for family and friends at a later date.
