I enjoyed working with then, LTC "Lucky" Wise, when he was Chief of Safety and we both worked in the 142nd Base Safety Office. Besides being a super good boss, the two things I remember most of him was that he had a great sense of humor and always loved it when he could escape the office and go fly the Eagle. But being his same age, I think he definitely departed terra firma way too soon... rwc
