Obituary of Richard Melton Smith

Richard M. Smith of Battle Ground, Washington passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the age of 63 years. Richard was born in Portland, Oregon on February 10, 1958 to James and Ella Smith. Richard worked for AAA Heating and Cooling for about 25 years. He served in the United States Army for 16 years. Richard loved to hunt and fish. He loved the people that he worked with at AAA Heating and Cooling and said they were like family. He like prospecting for gold with his nephew Danny and Danny's son, Bailey. Richard was preceded in death by his Father, James M. Smith in 1997 and his Brother Josh W. Smith in 2001. He is survived by his Mother, Ella M. Smith of Battle Ground, Washington, Sisters; Mary Bundy of Battle Ground, Washington and Patty Johnston of Minnesota. Children; Angie Trindall, Danielle Stegall and Jenny Smith. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and Nephews; Danny and Billy Bundy. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 12:00 to 5:00 at 106 NE 4th Street, Battle Ground, Washington. Please park at the bowling alley across the street.
