Jacqueline Lorraine Zanotto Vancouver, Washington October 3, 1930 ~ January 5, 2021 JACQUELINE “JACKIE” LORRAINE ZANOTTO Jacqueline “Jackie” Lorraine Zanotto, age 90, of Vancouver, WA, passed away suddenly after a fall on Jan. 5, 2021. Jackie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is best remembered for her big heart and love of gambling. Jackie loved to regale stories of her younger days to the younger generations. She often told stories about growing up in Crosby, ND, in the snow and ice skating. She was a tumbler in school and traveled with the team. Some of her favorite things were traveling with her friends, playing bingo, going to the casino, and spending time with the grandkids and great-grandkids. Jackie loved the beach; she did not care if it was stormy or not, she always wanted to go. She and her husband Bob adopted three children, one right after the other and close in age. Right before the third adoption, her mother asked her if she were crazy to have three so close in age, that it would be too much work. That did not stop them, they had so much love to give they wanted one more. Jackie had a terrible habit of spoiling all the kids. Not just their own kids but nieces and nephews and later grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Anyone who visited Jackie’s house would be welcomed and fed. The kids always knew where her candy stash was and there were always cookies in the cookie jar. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Lil; siblings, Mert, Ron and Bettie; husband, Bob; and daughter, Patti. She is survived by her daughter, Molly; son, Tom; seven grandchildren; and a whole squad of great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service for Jackie at 1 p.m., Feb. 6, 2021, at St. John the Evangelist Parish Cemetery. The family asks all those in attendance wear a mask and social distance by household.
