Obituary of Pamela Gayle Custer

Pamela Gayle Custer 1947 ~ 2020 Pamela Gayle Custer, 73 of Vancouver, WA went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Pam was born on July 1, 1947 in Houston, TX to Marcia Dorothy (Volking) and David Ralph Kirk. She spent most of her time in Texas, but spent many years in Oregon, Washington Cordova, TN. Pam was a natural care giver. She owned and operated adult foster care homes. Pam was a loving wife, mother, grandmother great-grandmother sister and friend. She enjoyed golfing, traveling, reading and spending time with family and friends playing cards. She also had a passion for ministry. Pam is survived by, her husband, of 27 years, Cliff Custer her six children, Kim Old and her husband Larry; Leslie Watkins; Carl H. Fitzgerald III and his wife Stephanie; Michael James Kirk Fitzgerald, and his wife Ann; Ryan Custer and Michelle Custer. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ashley Rush, Lacy Sommers, Larry Old Jr., Haley Burns, Nikki Williamson, Alley and Kelsey Watkins, Kennedi and Katelyn Fitzgerald, Lauren Fitzgerald, Connor and Grant Fitzgerald. She also leaves behind 10 great grandchildren. In addition she is survived by her five sisters Marcia Krieger, Melanie Wall, Cathy Weir, Vickie Bennett and Alicia Cox. Pam also leaves behind her best friends Lori Nutbrown, Susan Cusack and her husband Clay Cartner. A Celebration of Pam’s life will be held in Houston Texas in the near future.
