As a hard-core chocolate lover, I was delighted to find that a family owned chocolate factory had opened in my neighborhood a few years ago. The moment I walked in I was greeted by Janet and Tim, and introduced to their operations. As Tim worked behind the counter, Janet explained how the family had decided to dive into chocolate making and gave me a brief tour of the facility. Later, I would attend one of Janet's official tours. She was truly a delightful person, and always had a smile and pleasant greeting when I came in - even during her cancer treatment, when I know she couldn't have been feeling well.
It makes me terribly sad to hear of her passing.
