Susan K. Ragland Vancouver, Washington December 24, 1959 ~ August 10, 2020 Susan Kay Ragland, 60 of Amboy Washington passed away on August 10, 2020 in Vancouver, Washington with her family by her side. Susan was born on December 24, 1959 in Hillsboro, Oregon to Barbara Evans (Peak) & James Evans. Susan spent a good part of her childhood in Hillsboro then the family moved to Texas for a while, upon returning to the Northwest she lived in Scappoose, Oregon before settling in to the Amboy/Cougar area for the last 38 years. Susan was a caregiver, both professionally as a CNA as well as caring for her family. She was a caring, kind and loving person, although she did have a bit of a fiery side. Susan was very good at drawing, beadwork and doing all different types of craft projects. During the earlier years she enjoyed camping with the family. She enjoyed doing puzzles And crosswords, she collected interesting containers and was quite the rock hound, always on the lookout for Heart shaped and unique ones. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Dennis Ragland her Daughters Katie, Sandy, Marie and her son Michael as well as her grandchildren Ruby, Christian, Rachael, And many more including one due in Dec. She was proceeded in death by her son Frank. Private family services will be held at a later date.
