Virginia “Ginger” Elizabeth Cottrell, 67 of Vancouver, Washington passed way on July 22, 2020 in Vancouver, WA.
Ginger was born March 29, 1953 at Vancouver, Washington to Doris (Brown) and Richard Widle.
Ginger grew up and attended school her in Vancouver.
Ginger worked as a registered nurse locally until retiring a few years ago.
She enjoyed gardening, cooking and canning. She also enjoyed trips to the beach with family and friends. Her favorite destination to visit was Hawaii.
Ginger is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years, David Cottrell; daughter Francesca (Cottrell) Llaudes and her husband Maximo Llaudes; son Christopher Cottrell and sister Debbie (Widle) Pierce; granddaughters, Isabella Llaudes, Marisol Llaudes and Grance Llaudes as well as nieces, nephews and great-nephews, and sisiter in law Kathy Sandvig-Widle.
She is preceded in death by her parents Richard and Doris Widle, her sister Rebecca Widle and brothers Richard E and Kenneth Widle.
A celebration of life will be held once we are able to all get together again.
