Obituary of Derek Wayne Hampton

Derek Wayne Hampton Vancouver, Washington October 22, 1970 ~ May 28, 2020 In loving memory, Derek Hampton passed unexpectedly May 28, 2020 in Vancouver, WA at the age of 49. Derek is survived by his Father, Bill Hampton; Sister, Katherine Hair; Nephews, Derron, Dylan, and Tyler; Niece, Kayla and Sibling, Tony. He is preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Hampton, of Vancouver. Derek was a loving Uncle. He welcomed 3 Nephews and 1 Niece and set about sharing his love for music and his goofy comical stories with them. His Nephews and Niece remember him as a Storyteller and Funcle (Fun Uncle) who encouraged them to pursue their dreams. Derek was an accomplished Guitarist/Bassist and played in many bands. He was loved and cherished by many friends. He was a witty individual who loved to be the life of the party. The family would like to thank Debbie for her support and love for the family. A Celebration of Life and Pot Luck will be held at Leverich Park on June 20 from (12:00p - 4:00p).
