For Sunny and all of Gary's family, I am so sorry for your loss.
Gary was such a great man and I loved the time I worked with him at Horizon Air/Alaska Air Group in PDX.
He knew so much about the Airline Business and he was a mentor to me as I navigated into my role as Director of Production Control. Gary was always a calm guy. We could be in the middle of a stressful event or situation and he would say something or do something to put everything into a calmer perspective. If I needed a kind word or support for a problem, I would go to his office and we would talk about family or tennis. Gary loved his family and was always sharing stories of their successes. I wish we had stayed closer after we both left the Air Group, but sometimes that is how life is. We have great friends for the place we are at in life, and then we move to other places and times. However, I will have those great memories with me forever.
Sunny, you had a special guy in your life for over 60 years, and I mourn your loss.
