Dale was my best friend throughout high school. Even then Dale was great with kids. He read stories to my girlfriend’s little sister and when that girlfriend became my wife and we had children of our own, he bounced them on his lap. I’m not sure who was more content during those times - Dale or our kids. It was no surprise that he became a great Dad.
Dale was a force to be reckoned with on the football field but a teddy bear off the field.
Dale’s family welcomed me as part of their own family in high school and also hired both my brother and I as drivers during the days when the uncles owned ABC Transfer.
Dale was a true friend to my wife Dawn and I. We loved him like a brother. We regret that we didn’t know of his illness as we would have given anything to have had one last hug, one more last visit and one last “I love you.” We treasure the memories of your friendship and warmth, your laughter, patience, and love.

Dad, it is still hard for me to accept that you have left us. I am grateful that I had you as a dad. I couldn’t of asked for anyone more loving and kind as you. You meant the world to us. Thank you for teaching me dedication, compassion, and work ethic. Thank you for loving me, Antarus and Jaiden unconditionally . I miss you so much at times it hurts but I know you are at peace now. I know I can not be selfish even though I want to right now. What I wouldn’t give to have just one more last FaceTime with you. Gone too soon but never forgotten. Love your baby girl

Love you and miss you so much Dad. You were always such a great example of hard work, family values and unconditional love. I will try to lead my life the same way and follow in your footsteps. Thanks for everything you did and the impact you left on the lives of Steffy, Trevor, Taryn and myself. Taught us to love life and always find the good in people. Rest In Peace Buddy, you’ve earned it.
