Alan Trimble lived a life allowing the light of our Lord to shine through him. He was a great mentor and coach to our son Dillon Engles/Legion of Doom/State Champs, Class of 1998. It wasn't just about football, He made sure each player had tutoring for school subjects as needed and always prepared them for the future outside football. He was a witness and servant to us parens as well. Last year when my husband was placed on Hospice, Alan Trimble (suffering from ALS) and Mike Means came to visit and give Rob support and witness. Alan had a great gift of encouragement, making you feel like he was your best friend. His aliment didn't hold him back from giving more to others. He was a great testament to the love of Jesus for us all.
