Obituary of Pamela June Huskey

Please share a memory of Pamela to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Pamela Huskey (née Welch) passed away peacefully on Friday January 31st surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by four children (Lori Scymanski married to Glen Scymanski, Leigh Stewart married to Scott Stewart, Loy Huskey married to Melissa Huskey, and Lynn Greene), nine grandchildren (Nathan, Natasha, Nara, Nikolas, Lauren, Loy, Logan, James and Aiden) and five great grandchildren (Bella, Bailey, Caleb, Mason and Maddex). She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, fantastic hugs and many cups of tea. Born in London in 1945 to Cyril and Helen Welch, she grew up the oldest of five sisters. Growing up she loved to dance, sing and help look after racing dogs her father owned. In 1964 she was set up on a blind date to an American G.I and the rest, they say, is history. She and Loy raced stock cars and had many other adventures in Africa, California, Kansas, Germany, England, Mississippi and South Carolina before calling the Pacific Northwest home. We will miss her easy laughter, her compassion, her ability to make everyone feel loved, as well as her daily hankering for a non-fat, no foam latte and blueberry scone. Her memorial will be Saturday February 15th at 3 p.m at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 735 H St in Washougal.
