We met Gene at DiTazza only a few years ago and had many conversations on a wide variety of topics. Gene's stories and jokes were welcome diversions as were his opinions and observations. He inspired us to seek out travel opportunities, both close to home, and further away. We enjoyed knowing Gene and are grateful to his family for sharing him with us.
