Mona C. Frank passed away from complications due to pneumonia on June 30, 2019. She was preceded in death by Jack E. Haulk, her partner of more than 30 years; her parents, Walt and Bess Griffith; and her brother, Clarence E. “Clancy” Griffith. She leaves behind her daughter, Christine K. Frank, of Ridgefield, WA; son James A. “Allen” Frank, of Battle Ground, WA; sister Charlene C. Johnson of Clatskanie, OR; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mona retired from the Social Security Administration in 1999 after having worked there for 25 years.
Mona was very proud of her family and would light up anytime she had news about one of them, whether it was a small achievement or a major milestone. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting, hunting, horseback riding and visiting the local casinos.
A celebration of life will be held at the Longview Eagles, 1526 12th Ave, Longview, WA, on Sunday, July 28, from noon to 4 p.m. The event will be a potluck, so please bring your favorite dish.
