Bette M. Barta

Bette Barta was born May 13, 1930 in Hastings, Nebraska to Fred and Marie Hoffarber.  She passed away on Christmas Day, 2018, in Vancouver, Washington.  She is survived by children Michael (Sandra) Barta of Anchorage,  Alaska  and Elizabeth (Jerry) Schneider of Vancouver, Washington.  She had six surviving grandchildren:  Steve Barta (Anchorage); Aaron and Christina  (Vancouver)and Kimberly Barta (Longview); Geoffrey Schneider (Enon, Ohio) and Emily Schneider (Vancouver). Also, survived by one brother, Robert, of Fountain Hills, Arizona, and one great-grandson, Nolan Schneider of Enon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley, sister, Florene Ray and two children Linda and David Barta and one granddaughter, Katie Barta.
