Shirley (Lowe) Fisher

1928 ~ 2018

Shirley was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on April 3rd, 1928 to Norma (Matheson) & Adrian Lowe.  She spent her early childhood there.  When she was in high school, the family moved west to McMinville, Oregon.  She graduated from McMinville High School and went to Linfield College for two  years before she met and married Chuck Fisher.  They started a family, four boys and one girl.

She returned to school at Portland State, earning her Masters Degree in Library Science.  She worked for the Scappoose School District until she retired.  Shirley traveled the world as a story-teller and educator.

She was preceded in death by her husband Chuck, daughter Laurie and youngest son David.

At her request there will be no services.
