April 1, 1939 ~ October 27, 2018

Heidy Herschbach, 79 of Vancouver, WA passed away on October 27, 2018, at home surrounded by love.  At her request there will be no funeral or visitation.

Heidy was born in Munich, Germany on April 10, 1939, she was Bavarian through and through.  She migrated to the U.S. in 1960 and earned several advanced degrees in art, art history and ceramics.  Besides teaching at several college and universities, she never missed a chance to talk about art, culture and travel to far away places.  Once a teacher, always a teacher.

She loved animals of all kinds, but especially cats and dogs.

She is survived by her “Vancouver Tribe Family”, numerous friends and her beloved pets.  Heidy was preceded in death by husband, Robert A Herschbach.
