NORMA ADELIN (MCNAY) COLGLAZIER May 10, 1925 ~ December 2, 2014 Norma Adelin McNay Colglazier passed away December 2, 2014. Norma, a long time resident of Hazel Dell, was born in Moline, Illinois on May 10, 1925 to Mabel Otilia Frost and Kearney K. McNay. Norma's family moved to Colorado for the clear, dry air in 1929 after her father became ill with tuberculosis. There she attended Colorado Springs High School and met her husband James B. Colglazier. They celebrated their 72nd anniversary on July 13th. Although small in stature, she was a bundle of energy and fortitude. Norma excelled at the toughest job of all, raising her four children who called her a "domestic goddess.". As a proud member of TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly), she held the title of Weight Recorder for 35 years. Always friendly and greeting you with a dimpled smile, she enjoyed driving her friends to lunch, shopping, and the movies. Norma is survived by her husband, James B. Colglazier; her oldest son, James Colglazier Jr.; her daughter, Judy Cutter; her youngest son, David Colglazier; her youngest daughter, Norma Jean Crebs; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Her death was preceded by the death of her son, John Earl Colglazier; and her two sisters, Florence Zolman and Constance Gibson.
