I knew Katie only briefly, when she came to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center. She was sweet and light-hearted despite her difficulties. She always greeted me with a smile, and I quickly grew fond of her. I am just new learning of her passing, and I offer my sincere condolences to all her family and friends. I would have liked to have known her better. Rest in peace, Katie.
