Obituary of Seth Matthew Wilkerson
Seth M. Wilkerson
August 19, 1976 - April 2, 2018
Seth passed from this life the way he lived it, surrounded by friends and family at home on April 2, 2018. He lived his years with immense love, joy and enthusiasm. Seth never met a stranger. In his eyes you were his friend even if you didn’t know it yet. His early years were spent in Ridgefield, Wash., moving with his family to Vancouver in 1992. It was here that he graduated from Hudson’s Bay High School, married in 1998 and raised a family of four. He worked in the restaurant business for over 22 years. It was a perfect fit for his extroverted personality. One of Seth’s greatest joys was coaching his children’s many sports teams.
He is loved and greatly missed by his children; Becca, Austin, Cayah and Dylan Wilkerson and their mother Nicky, Brother Micah Wilkerson, niece and nephews, Allison, Elijah and Jaden Wilkerson, stepsister Sarah Vaughan, niece and nephew Noe and Cassette Padigos, step brothers Nate Vaughan and Brent Huff, mother and stepfather Susan and George Vaughan, father Wayne Wilkerson, Aunt and Uncle Kathy Madsen, Dennis Gudmundson and cousins Kaegan and Mika Gudmundson, Grandmothers Virginia Wilkerson and Patricia Madsen. He also leaves behind many dear friends and colleagues.
A celebration of his life will be in the Chapel of Crossroads community Church on April 21st at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations in honor of “Coach Seth” can be made to the Parks and Recreation Scholarship Fund. Additionally Seth’s former coworkers have established a fund to offset medical and funeral costs. To donate please visit https://www.facebook.com/donate/1638371529563476/
