I only knew Gerry for a short while when I went to school with Susan. He was a "cool dude" older brother back then. After reading the obituary, I can only wish that I'd known him his whole life. What an amazing man with a really big and busy life! He made such a great family with kids and grandkids and wives and friends. I am so sorry for your huge loss. I sure wish that I had known him and loved him, too. God bless you all - and Gerry.

Dear Vonne and family, I am so sad to hear of Gerry's passing. My deepest condolences to all. Gerry was just a year older than I am, and our families got together many times while we were young. It is hard to lose a loved one at such a young age. May God welcome him with open arms.
Sadly,
Jane and Patrick Keleher

Gerry was a great man and friend to all of us at the CCA SW Washington chapter. I'm personally grateful to have gotten to see him a few weeks ago. A good fisherman and a passionate volunteer, we miss him greatly and am sorry for his loss.

Vonnie and family: We are thinking of you at this difficult time. Our hearts go out to you all..
I will miss my berry picking partner! About 26 years ago when I started shooting archery Gerry was my first partner at my first league at Dan's Archery shop. I didn't know Gerry then, for that matter I didn't know anybody! I was the only girl and felt pretty intimidated! Gerry was such a great shot and taught me a lot. He taught me so much, and so well, that we won the first place trophy in league that year! We hunted hogs in Texas together and had so many fun times, picked berries, and the best fishing. I will never eat Salmon, or eat blackberries and blueberries that I don't think of my friend.
Rest in Peace Gerry!
Love Jim and Linda Norvell
