Fredrick Ross Pierce, 63 passed away on March 19, 2018 in Vancouver, Washington.  Fred was born on May 7, 1954 in Portsmith, Virginia to Marie (Nielson) and Alvin Pierce.  Fred enlisted in the US Navy in November of 1971.

Just a short while later in 1972, Fred had a motorcycle accident that would forever change his life.  Following the accident, he received a medical retirement from the Navy. 

He enjoyed attending church, movies and a good laugh.

Fred is survived by his brothers Richard Pierce and Pat Triplett. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Pierce, his mother Marie Ballew and step-father Keith Ballew.  Fred was also preceded in death by siblings Butch Pierce, Randy Pierce and Sandra Korhonen Pierce.

Services will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Church of Latter Day Saints located at 220 NE Hearthwood Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98684 at 10:30AM
