Douglas Charles Stahl

December 18, 1952 - January 7, 2018

Douglas Charles Stahl passed peacefully the evening of January 7, 2018 at Veterans Administration Hospital, Portland.  Born December 18, 1952, Doug lived virtually his whole life in Portland.  He was a grad of Grant HS and a Vietnam era Navy veteran.  After his service, he attended the Portland State Engineering program.  He worked the majority of his career at Good Samaritan Hospital.

Douglas is survived by his long-time best friend and wife, Colleen; his father, Gilbert and sister, Theresa.  His mother, Marlene, preceded him in heath, as did his brother, Brian.

His family as well as many friends of this intelligent, articulate, sensitive and sensible man grieve his sudden passing.

Service with Military Honors will be held at Willamette National Cemetery on May 25, 2018 at 12:00, Check at Admin office for location.  Celebration of Douglas' Life will be at Fairway Village Clubhouse, 15509 SE Fernwood Drive, Vancouver, WA 98683 on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 12:00PM - 3:00PM.  Please RSVP by Friday May 18 to gstahl27@gmail.com or call 360 256-4093
