Obituary of Steven N Needham
Steven N. Needham
January 1, 1960 - December 19, 2017
Steven Noel Needham died peacefully at home on December 19, 2017 in Vancouver, WA at the age of 57.
Steve is survived by his wife Kelley, mother Judy, children, Nicholas (Terra), Ariel (Paul), Lucas, BreAnna (Marc), Jacob (Acacia), and Taylor; granddaughters Beatrix and Quinn; siblings, Dawn (Jon) and Cindy (Ron). He is preceded in death by his father Noel and niece Jennifer Larsen.
Steve was born on January 1, 1960 in Augsburg, Germany to Noel and Judith Needham. He graduated from Woodburn High School in 1978. He married Kelley, the love of his life in 2009. His children will always remember him as a kind and dedicated father who loved them unconditionally.
Steve was a truck driver and worked at a hamster farm, but for a great part of his life he was a loving husband and full-time father caring for 6 children and participating in all of their daily activities.
One of Steve’s best attributes was his sense of humor. He was always able to see the good in everyone and will forever be remembered for his kind soul. Steve loved to play golf and was very passionate about working on his 1970 Monte Carlo. So much so that his wife called the Monte “ his second love.”
An open house memorial is scheduled for Friday December 29, 2017 at Lucky Lab on SE Hawthorne Blvd. All are welcome to drop in anytime between 4:15-8 pm and celebrate Steve's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the National Kidney Association.
