Alice B. Olson

Mrs. Alice Olson, daughter of late Edmund Belak and Minnie Belak was born December 24, 1937 in Wynyard, Saskatchewan, Canada. 

She was united in matrimony to Donald Hugo Olson in November of 1956. This union was blessed with seven children.  They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary November 24, 2016.

She had a passion for gardening and cooking. She had a generous spirit and pleasant personality, and was loved by many.  Her passion for life was as beautiful as the flowers she loved so much, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her.  She quietly departed this life Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at her home in Vancouver, WA surrounded by her family.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Debora (the late Vito) Donato of Bolingbrook, IL, Judy (Carl) Jones of Spavinaw, OK, Philip Olson of Vancouver, WA, Beverley (Reginald) Spurs of Houston, TX, Betty (Hilario) Flores of Houston, TX, Paul (Karen) Olson of Fulton, MO, and Robert Olson of Nashville, TN; sixteen grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Reitmeier of Regina, SK, CAN; sister-in-law Linda Schultz of Folsom, PA; devoted family friends JoAnn and Nancy Rae, and Lynda and Bob Hudson; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
