My deepest, most sincere condolences to the entire, dear Barges Family. I have had the pleasure and privilege, of having attended two cleasses, which Prof. Barges has taught. I have opted for the second of these courses, only because Prof. Barges has been in charge. I have thoroughly enjoyed his vast knowledge, high intelligence and sophisticated sense of humour. If there is a Heaven, he is most definitely there, enriching all others with his knowledge, putting smiles on their faces. As long as there is,, even a single person, fondly recalling you, you are not really gone. I am sure,, that many of us recall and appreciate your dedication and contribution to your profession and students. You will always remain in my heart and thoughts,, as an exceptional, exemplary person and professional. Hence Prof. Barges, you will always be a part of me, you will never really leave.
